LETTERING, MURAL
When approached from the owners about a mural for their new work co-op and coffee shop, we thought that lettering of various styles would be appropriate to convey the inclusiveness they wanted to provide in their space.
Starting out as we always do, we hit the drawing pad and busted out as many various styles that could work cohesively while still being relatively interlocked for the space that the mural was.
We vectorized all of the custom lettering before having it printed in one long sheet of paper that we pounced out by hand with a pounce wheel before taping it up on the wall and tapping down some chalk. When it came time to get down ’n dirty, we whipped out our sign painting brushes and enamel paint to tackle this wall, which was the biggest piece of real estate we’ve had the pleasure of muckin’ up to date.
